Rivet Shelving provides an adjustable shelving system that can be designed to suit your space. Rivet Shelving decked with particle board is best used for general purpose applications such as box or archive storage, storerooms and in workshops. 

We also offer Rivet Shelving configured with mesh decks and galvanised steel panels, suitable for for cool room storage and grocery applications respectively.

Our standard units are configured as 4 levels fitted with particle board. Please get in touch or request a quote for a different number of shelf levels.

Electro Galvanised Finish

Its electro galvanised surface treatment and the ability to remove the shelves and clean them means it can be used as cool room shelving. Being electro galvanized (otherwise known as zinc plated) the surface is metallic and caution should be used when choosing a cleaning product. A neutral cleaner is only to be used (Neutral in PH soapy water is recommended) so that a chemical reaction does not take place on the zinc plating itself.

It should also be noted that food products that may spill on the shelving itself needs to be cleaned immediately to avoid this type of chemical reaction also, as some foods can be acidic and which can cause a similar reaction which appears on the shelving as a discolouration to the zinc plating. Some examples of acidic foods are citrus fruits, tomatoes, pineapple, vinegar, picked foods, or strawberries just to list a few, and these among others need to be cleaned immediately to avoid a reaction to the zinc plated surface.

Additional Features

Some other features include a wide range of heights, depths and bay lengths to accommodate almost any layout. The feet are adjustable to make it easy to level the shelving where the floor surface is uneven. And the step beam allows a flush fitting of 18mm particle board. Beam ties are used to hold together the front and back z-beams, which also strengthens the shelving unit.

Delivery

We provide delivery to all metropolitan areas and regional areas in Victoria. For customers outside Victoria, please refer to the delivery
guidelines below.

• New South Wales - Stock is dispatched from our depot in Prestons, NSW 2170
• Queensland - Stock is dispatched from our depot in Oxley, QLD 4075
• Western Australia - Stock is dispatched from our depot in Osborne Park, WA 6017

Delivery costs vary and are dependent on load size and location. Upon finalisation of materials and delivery location, our team will happily confirm these costs prior to order placement.

Pick Up

Pick up of products is available from our warehouse, located at 9/59 Jersey Road, Bayswater VIC 3153. Our warehouse team can assist with the loading of goods, whether loading palletised items, packs of frames and beams, or handloading smaller items.

For customers outside Victoria, pick up is also available from our depot centres in NSW, QLD and WA. Please get in touch to organise a date for pick up from these locations.

Please note, it is best to discuss pick up logistics with our team prior to ensure that your vehicle is suitable to transport the materials safely.

Lead Times

Lead time is stock specific, so accurate estimates can only be provided by our sales team at the time of order confirmation or during general enquiry.

However, as general rule, we can facilitate most orders 1 – 2 weeks from order confirmation.
